Paranoid Personality Disorder


It is characterized by a generalized mistrust and suspiciousness about the motives and actions of others and a tendency to interpret them as malevolent. They are reluctant to answer personal questions for fear of hidden motives and hostile intensions. Neutral or friendly remarks are misinterpreted as carrying hidden meanings. Many have a feeling of self importance and think they are unusually talented. They feel that because of this others are jealous of them and are trying to prevent them from pursuing their goal.
