Motivation

motivation

this is the most powerful thing within our mind. The motivation is a drive that encourages action or feeling. Motivation is powerful. It can persuade, convince and propel you into action. Your internal motivation is your drive and attitude. There are two types of motivation; internal motivation and external motivation.

External Motivation
External motivation comes from outside. This comes from some external motivators like money, societal approval, fame or fear. This helps to produce a lot of effort from the person. This type of motivation helps the person to do things under supervision. Here he is trying to make his stand stern. So they perform very well.

Internal Motivation
Internal motivation comes from within. The two major internal motivators are recognition and responsibility. Recognition means being appreciated. Responsibility gives a person a feeling of belonging and ownership. Internal motivation leads to a consistency in winning and regularity in life. We are all motivated, either positively or negatively.

What all are the de-motivating factors?

·         Unfair criticism
·         Negative criticism
·         Public humiliation
·         Rewarding the non-performers
·         Success (which leads to complacence)
·         Lack of direction
·         Lack of measurable objectives
·         Low self esteem
·         Lack of priorities
·         Negative self talk
·         Office politics
·         Unfair treatment
·         Hypocrisy
·         Poor standards
·         Frequent change
·         Responsibility without authority

Realize these things in our life and bring harmony to our life with motivators. Put one thing into your mind, as belief is the greatest motivator. Take the responsibility on your shoulders, and then you can see everything changed: quality, productivity, relationships and teamwork. Be a good listener and boost your opportunities for growth. Take challenges on your shoulder and move forward.
