Group Formation
Worker studies individuals’ attitude, interests, needs and desires; unit them on the basis or certain similarities in their basic needs.
In group formation process the therapist decides:
• Nature of group activities: Recreational, Educational, Therapeutic, etc.
• Working methodology: Play, Role-playing, Discussion, Art, Working experience, etc.
• Place of activities, frequency of group meeting and time.
• Process of communication.
